My Cloud Bursting Series is inspired by an activity I've done since I was a kid. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, lying in the long grass on a hot summer day looking up at the sky and envisioning things within the shapes of the clouds as they roll by revealing themselves. With this series, I splat a single colour of paint randomly across a canvas and then let that sit until the image within the image reveals itself to me. I then start to fill the white area with black ink to present the image that I see within the shapes.

The canvas is a 15ml acid-free canvas that is shipped rolled (frame not included). Great if you want to add the piece into your own frame. This rolled canvas option has custom sizes (available up to 48”) so if you would like a size not shown here, let me know and I can quote it for you.
